Ecological policy

The ecological policy of Joint Stock Company "Saint-Petersburg "IZOTOP" is aimed at obtaining the level of nuclear, radiation and other components of ecological safety recognized in the international practice, applying new environmentally benign technologies in the enterprise business.

The company activities in the ecological field are based on application of basic scientific knowledge applicable to ecology, environment protection and conservancy of nature, nuclear, radiation and general industrial safety.

Objective and Basic Principles:

The primary objective of the ecological policy of Joint Stock Company "Saint-Petersburg "IZOTOP" is arrangement of conditions during which achievement of the strategic objective of the ecological policy of Rosatom is most effectively provided.

Among basic principles are:

• Prevention and readiness for recovery of emergency situations;
• System and complex solution by the enterprise of problems of maintenance of ecological safety and environment-related activity.

Realization:

Arrangements aimed at ecological safety improvement are regularly carried out at the company.
