History

 1962
On the basis of the all-union office Izotop of the trust Soyuzreaktiv Leningrad inter - republican office Izotop was established for storage, transportation and work with radioactive isotopes and devices on their basis.

1969
The all-union office Izotop was renamed into Leningrad inter-republican enterprise Izotop, afterwards - Saint-Petersburg Federal State Unitary Enterprise Izotop.

60-70th
Start of construction of the storage house for radioactive substances and the temporary (in-transit) storage house for nuclear materials near the railway station Kapitolovo of Oktyabrskaya railroad.

1973
For the first time Izotop acted as a carrier of enriched uranium within the foreign trade activity.

1990
The enterprise participated in execution of an order for export delivery of natural uranium.

1995
Saint Petersburg Federal State Unitary Enterprise Izotop performed range of transportation works in accordance with the Russian-American inter- governmental agreement “On Use of Highly Enriched Uranium from Nuclear Weapons” and executive contract of АО Tekhsnabexport (HEU-LEU Agreement).

1996
The enterprise was awarded the prize of the prestigious international “Trade Leaders’ Club”.

While presenting the prize, high image of the company, original trade mark, correctness of relations with partners were pointed out.

1997
Saint Petersburg Federal State Unitary Enterprise Izotop was the organizer of the international conference “Safety and Communications during Transportation of Nuclear and Radioactive Materials”. Among participants of the conference were the major representatives of the world nuclear industry - URENCO, BNFL, NCS, as well as the largest enterprises of our country.

1998
Izotop was awarded the Golden Mercury prize for participation in the international program “Partnership for the Sake of Progress”.
